Mother, I See You

Mother, I see you
In the golden sun that touches my face
I feel the love you want to give me
In the racing dawn
I feel your wisdom that tingles in the tangles of my being
Mother, I see you

Sister, I know you
In the love that you rain upon the earth
I feel the tears you wish to cry for me
In the cooling night
I feel your hope for the future
Sister, I know you

Father, I trust you
In the leaves that are my bed
I feel your love for a good night's rest
In the blooming afternoon
I feel the toil of your providence
Father, I trust you

Brother, I mourn you
In the wilderness spread before me
I feel the complexity of your understanding
In the dark morn
I feel your desire for a golden day
Brother, I mourn you

This be my prayer
Mother Earth and Father Heaven
Sister Water and Brother Fire
This my peace, my security, my hope, my passion
I feel you
And so I love.
